![]() Gemma is a private observatory, located in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, a 2 hour drive from Boston, MA, on a small knoll with a clear horizon view in all directions. Individual images taken through the dome room hatch were assembled into the 360 degree daytime panorama above. ![]() At night, several domes of light pollution exist in almost every direction, but the milky way is easily visible in most of the sky. The World Atlas of the Artificial Night Sky Brightness rates this area as dark green on their expanded color scale.
